Mgr-IS Operations/ Service Desk

This role is responsible for Multiple ITIL processes including, Problem management (Root cause analysis) and alerting. Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our Monitoring system as well as directly guiding and building improvements to our Monitoring application and processes. This role also works hand in hand with our ServiceDesk team in maintaining business continuity for our Service Desk and NOC. In addition to Monitoring the NOC is a central hub for our IS Department supporting our Field techs, Subject matter experts, IS Partners and our leaders. The manager of this role must be flexible and willing to adapt to many situations.

Job Duties

  • Develops tactical business plans for operations support.
  • Coordinates and controls data center operation.
  • Prepares management reports on quality indicators and performance trends for information services senior management.
  • Provides data services to information services user community.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

Education

  • Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.


Work Experience

  • Required - 10 years of experience in extensive operations support management.
  • Additional degrees, business training experience and/or certifications may be combined to meet minimum qualifications.
